Overview

A seven-day grand tour that reveals Peru's most treasured destinations in a single seamless composition. This is not a tour you follow — it is an experience that unfolds around you. Private guides. Vistadome train compartments. Effortless transfers. The kind of journey that changes the way you remember Peru.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Lima · Welcome to the Pacific Capital

Upon landing at Jorge Chávez International Airport, our dedicated concierge will be waiting to welcome you with a private transfer to the legendary Belmond Miraflores Park Hotel. The afternoon is yours to unwind along the Malecón with its sweeping Pacific views, explore the bohemian streets of Miraflores, or savor your first taste of Peru's culinary renaissance in a restaurant of our careful selection.

Overnight: Belmond Miraflores Park Hotel · Meals: None included
Day 02

Lima City Tour · A Full Day in the Capital

Your private guide collects you at 08:30 for a full-day exploration of Lima's dramatic contrasts. Begin at Love Park, with its panoramic ocean views and Victor Delfín sculpture. Continue through modern Miraflores, Kennedy Park and its famous felines, and the vibrant Surquillo Market — a favorite of Lima's celebrated chefs. Afternoon brings the bohemian Barranco district and the Historic Center: the Plaza Mayor, the Presidential Palace, the Cathedral, and the Saint Francisco Convent with its haunting underground catacombs.

Overnight: Belmond Miraflores Park Hotel · Meals: Breakfast
Day 03

Lima → Cusco → Sacred Valley of the Incas

A private transfer returns you to Lima's airport for your short flight to Cusco. Upon arrival in the ancient Inca capital, our Cusco concierge welcomes you and whisks you by private vehicle directly to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where the air is thinner and the altitude gentler (2,800 m / 9,186 ft). At Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba, you are welcomed with the traditional coca leaf infusion. The remainder of the day is yours — rest, gentle acclimatization, a walk in the hotel's orchid gardens, or a spa treatment.

Overnight: Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba · Meals: Breakfast
Day 04

Sacred Valley: Moray, Maras & Ollantaytambo · Vistadome to Aguas Calientes

A day dedicated to the Valley's hidden treasures. Begin at the extraordinary circular agricultural terraces of Moray — an Inca laboratory where altitude and microclimate were engineered with surgical precision, producing temperature differentials of up to 15°C between top and bottom. Continue to the colonial town of Maras and its breathtaking Salineras, where salt has been harvested from the mountain since Inca times. A refined Peruvian lunch in Urubamba follows. The afternoon brings the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, a living Inca town and the valley's most dramatic fortress. Board the Vistadome train for the scenic descent to Aguas Calientes.

Overnight: Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel · Meals: Breakfast & lunch
Day 05

Machu Picchu · The Lost City · Return to Cusco

Early morning, your private guide collects you for the zigzag ascent to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. For two and a half hours, you will walk the citadel privately — the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana, the Sacred Plaza, the Royal Tomb — with a guide chosen for their deep scholarship. After the guided visit, time for photography and quiet reflection before lunch in Aguas Calientes. The afternoon Vistadome returns you to Ollantaytambo, where your private transfer awaits for the drive to Cusco and the 16th-century monastery-turned-hotel that is Belmond Hotel Monasterio.

Overnight: Belmond Hotel Monasterio · Meals: Breakfast
Day 06

Cusco City Tour · Imperial Heart of the Andes

A five-hour exploration of Cusco's most extraordinary sites. Begin at the Cathedral, built on the foundations of the Inca Wiracocha's palace and housing over 300 paintings from the Cusco School. Continue to Qoricancha — the legendary Temple of the Sun, once sheathed in gold. Ascend to Sacsayhuamán, the megalithic fortress whose stones defy explanation. Continue to Qenqo, Puca Pucara and finally Tambomachay, the sacred water temple where Inca rulers performed purification rites. Return to Belmond Monasterio with the afternoon free — perhaps an aperitif in the hotel's historic courtyard.

Overnight: Belmond Hotel Monasterio · Meals: Breakfast
Day 07

Cusco Airport · Until We Meet Again

Your private transfer arrives at your preferred time to deliver you to Cusco Airport. As you begin your journey home, we hope you carry more than photographs — a changed way of seeing, perhaps, or a quieter understanding of what the Andes have meant for the last five centuries. This is not goodbye. Hasta pronto.
